​Valerie Yeung is a full-time violin teacher with over 15 years of dedicated experience. Her musical journey began at the age of 10, studying with Mr. Li Zhisheng, the first violinist of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Mr. Lung Heung Fai, Mr. Ng Ka Ming, Mr. Chan Wai Wa, and Mr. Chow Tak Chuen. Valerie was awarded the prestigious Talent Development Scholarship while in the music department.

She has performed on international stages, competing in notable competitions in cities such as Vienna, Prague, and Yekaterinburg, where she received Second Prize at the 9th Amigdala International Music Competition in Italy. Her performances also include cultural exchanges in major cities like London, Bratislava, Brno, Beijing, and Shanghai.

Beyond teaching, she has a genuine interest in lutherie and restoration. As the founder of ARTS PLACE, she offers violin wholesale, retail and aims to foster arts cultural exchange. She welcomes the opportunity to share her experiences and insights and looks forward to connecting with those who are curious to learn more.
